K2 Castings was honored to welcome SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler to our offices on June 25, 2026.

We gave her a ground-level view of what we do: making the wear parts that keep American manufacturing moving. Shredding scrap metal to feed our steel mills. Running combustors that convert waste to energy. Keeping ag equipment in the field longer. Unglamorous work — and essential.

We talked about the current climate for metal recycling, the industries we serve, and what it means to operate as a veteran-owned, family business. The SBA’s support of companies like ours matters more than most people realize.
